I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a bachelors degree in health and exercise science in 2008 and then with my clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy from The University of New England in 2012. Most of my career has been spent working with orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation, with a heavy emphasis placed in the post-operative rehabilitation population. My passion lies with sports medicine rehab and helping people stay active and mobile as they age. I have taken many post-graduate continuing education courses, and am certified in integrative dry needling and am a running coach, educated through ISSA.

Outside of work, I really enjoy staying active myself. I really enjoy running and have ran in many races across the country from 5K to marathon distance and have participated in multiple duathlons and sprint triathlons. I enjoy running for myself as well as for others. A cause very near and dear to my heart is raising money for the Dempsey Center so patients and families/caregivers can receive free services while undergoing cancer treatment. I attempt to participate in the Dempsey Challenge every year in September for this exact purpose. In addition to running I love going to the beach, paddle boarding, spending time with my two young daughters and husband. I enjoy reading, doing jigsaws, teaching myself to play the piano, and dabble in building furniture.

I graduated from the University of New England with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I took a non-traditional way to get there though. I graduated from Hendrix College and Washington University in St Louis with degrees in physics and electrical engineering. I then spent 6 years in the United States Air Force as an engineer and analyst before returning to school for physical therapy.

All of my physical therapy experience has been in the orthopedic, outpatient setting. I have treated joint replacements, pre and post op patients, sports injuries, strains, sprains, fractures, overuse injuries as well as various joint and muscle pains. As a runner myself, I have a particular interest in treating, training and educating runners. I did my first running race at the age of 12 and have been running and racing ever since. I have over 30 years of experience of training as well as racing and over 12 years of experience of rehabbing, training and educating runners. I am also a Certified Run Coach through the International Sports Sciences Association.

Originally from Oklahoma, I now reside in Brunswick with my wife, Sarah, and son, Levi. We enjoy an active and outdoors lifestyle, including running, biking, camping, hiking, skiing and snowboarding.
